Officer Mitchell L. Ross: Milwaukee Police Department

 

Mitch started with the Milwaukee Police Department in 2000. He has been assigned to Milwaukee Police Districts #3, #6 as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer, as well as assigned to the AGU (Anti Gang Unit Squads) at both districts. He has also worked in the Department’s Sensitive Crimes Division, which handles crimes against children and elderly, to include sexual assault and physical abuse. He is a member of the Milwaukee Police MIRT (Major Incident Response Team). Mitch is also an adjunct instructor at the Milwaukee Police Training Academy. From 2012 to Fall 2016 he was assigned to the Milwaukee Police Department’s Intelligence Fusion Center, STAC Division (Southeastern Threat Analysis Center), as the Training and Outreach Officer where he instructs SARs (Suspicious Activity Reporting), Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE), Suspicious Package / Bomb Threat Response, as well as the Seven / Eight Signs of Terrorism and Information Collection on Patrol. He is responsible for TLO (Terrorism Liaison Officer) programs and FLO (Fusion Liaison Officer) programs, Exercise Preparedness, National SAR Initiative Training, and Security Briefings. Currently, Mitch is assigned to Milwaukee Police Dept., Dist. # 5, Day Shift, Patrol.
