NDSS is excited to announce that veteran communications and advocacy strategist Joshua Harlow will now be serving as Vice President for our communications department. Kandi Pickard, Interim President and CEO said the role was a natural fit for Joshua and NDSS.
“As we look to strengthen our message and communications strategy, I felt it essential to ask Joshua to take a more senior and involved role with our team. As many of you know, Joshua started working with NDSS in 2012, and our team is benefited by his passion, commitment and drive to tell our story.”
Joshua has served various roles for NDSS, including his leadership on grassroots and media strategy for the Stephen Beck Jr. Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act.
“By far, the most rewarding experience in my career has been the life-changing work I have helped shepherd as a part of the team at NDSS,” said Harlow. “We are not done, we have a lot of work left and I have told the team at NDSS I will never stop working for the equal rights of those in our community.”
