The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and Voya Cares® are proud to be celebrating Down Syndrome Awareness Month and National Disability Employment Awareness Month with our Go Orange for Inclusive Employment campaign! The Go Orange campaign will boost the national conversation about the need for greater employment opportunities for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities.
Through out the month of October, NDSS and Voya Cares® will be highlighting individuals with Down syndrome from across the country who have meaningful jobs in their community.
We are also partnering to provide financial support to entrepreneurs with Down syndrome. This month, we are giving four grants to individuals with Down syndrome who want to start their own business or invest more capital into their company. Three finalists of innovative individuals with Down syndrome will be selected to receive a $10,000 grant and one finalist will be selected to receive a $25,000 grant.
