NDSS continues to lead an effort to enact state legislation to prohibit discrimination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities when it comes to life-saving organ transplants. The Kansas Legislature is considering a measure aimed to save countless lives of people with Down syndrome and other disabilities in dire need of organ transplants.
