Clinical Provider Database

Down Syndrome Clinics and Health Care Providers

For optimal health care, families may locate a developmental pediatrician, a specialist knowledgeable about Down syndrome or a Down syndrome clinic. These specialists can work with the primary care physician. Local parent groups are an excellent resource for learning of health care professionals who have exp

erience with Down syndrome. You can search for NDSS affiliate parent support groups near you in the Affiliates section, here.

However, it is not always necessary or possible to find an expert on Down syndrome. The most important thing is that the doctor is willing to learn about the condition and collaborate with the family and individual with Down syndrome.

Down Syndrome Clinics and Health Care Providers Database

This database of clinical providers with specialty services available for patients with Down syndrome was created by NDSS in partnership with its Clinical Advisory Board. All information included in this database was provided by the institutions themselves through a survey conducted by NDSS.

Audiometry is offered at our clinic as well as lab work if needed or medical imaging if needed. An early intervention specialist and a child life specialist are also part of the clinic.
