Working And Giving Back
Working And Giving Back

This painting is called Music. I just gave it to Funding Futures Chicago. They have an auction for DSRTF. I looked at my keyboard. I used a ruler to measure it and draw it. The rest is careful work. And luck! No paint smears! No drips! In 1996 I gave 4 paintings to an auction for special education. That was the start. Before The Recession I gave 100 big beautiful paintings every year. Cowboy sunsets. Sunflowers with American flags. The Kentucky Derby. I like to share my art. I feel proud painting for DS. I can make a difference. This year I gave 15 paintings and a bunch of prints. So far. My great story is people like my art. They say it gives them instant joy and hope for the future.
