My mom and dad were told to institutionalize me when I was born. They were told I would not walk or speak and might get pregnant at 16. I am proud to tell you that I can walk, talk and at 22 still have not had a baby. What have I done? My Mom and I created TecAccess ( We are an IT and Risk Management Company that employs many people with disabilities including people with intellectual disabilities and help organizations all over the world to assure ICT (internet/communications/technology) is fully accessible to everyone including PwD. We speak all over the world about our work. I have been invited to speak by the Princess of Qatar, Europe, Germany, all over the U.S. I have been featured on television, radio, newspaper, magazines, online and several commercials. I have also won several awards for my work - Top 40 under 40 and Compass Award. I love telling my story - it is so important that people understand the value that people like me bring to the workforce and the world.
