Night at the Races
Night at the Races

My story starts by telling you that I am a global messenger for Special Olympics Illinois and my friend Dennis Tagenhorst asked me to give a speech for a fundraiser by his torch run organization. It was held at a stock car race with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Illinois. It was a great time because after my speech I got to ride in the pace car to start the races. Every time we went around the track we went faster. At the end of one of the races the winner gave me his trophy, it was as tall as I am.  Everyone had a great time and Special Olympics Illinois received many funds.
