Chloe's Magical "Miracle League" Year! By

Chloe had quite a magical year in 2012, and a big reason was the Miracle League Field of the South Hills where she plays baseball. The field has been a priceless blessing for all members of the community, and it allows people to see the abilities of children like Chloe. Chloe and her Miracle League friends starred in a 30 minute nationwide episode about the Miracle League for the TV series “Facing Life Head On,” and it received awesome feedback from around the globe: http://www.facinglife.tv/episode/season_6/episode_14/episode_614.html. A photo of Chloe batting during a Miracle League game was chosen to be part the National Down Syndrome Society's video presentation on the big screen in Times Square to kick off the Buddy Walk® in Central Park. Chloe traveled to New York City with her family and friends to watch the uplifting presentation, and it was an incredible day filled with joy, hope and optimism for individuals with Down syndrome and their families! NDSS is a very strong voice for the Down syndrome community, and the seeds this organization plants will be yielding a positive harvest for countless generations. For Chloe, 2012 was a year filled with irreplaceable memories she and her family will always cherish, and the possibilities for her future are very bright indeed!
