Alex Embry is 21 years old, of Bowling Green KY. He is a member of a dance troupe named the BGRockerz, whose members all have Down syndrome. This group of performers is referred to as "ambassadors of good will and purveyors of hugs." The BGRockerz has been together since 2007 and has entertained audiences throughout the State of KY and in TN. Members range in age from 10 years old to 50 years young. Through music, movement and dance the BGRockerz bring a message of possibilities and the joy in which to celebrate each individual's unique ability.
