My name is Sophie and I go to a public school that allows children with Down Syndrome to learn and be educated. We have a Student Needs Centre were they ate their lunch. I am the only student out of the school (1500 kids) who volenteerd to sit, eat, play and learn with them, and they light up my life. Since I have been with them, I have seen them learn new skills, experience new things and be with their fellow peers, but most importently, I have watched them grow. I now know what the meaning of MY life is, to help those many children with Down syndrome, in need of love, support and an education.
