Wiley Alexander Mittendorf is eleven years old. He attends school at St. Lillian Academy in Baton Rouge. Everyday he is excited to go to school and see his schoolmates and teachers. Wiley loves throwing frisbee with his brothers and playing machine pitch baseball at the Y on the LA Dodger team. Wiley was born with Down syndrome and blessed his family with his love of life and silliness. He loves babies of all kids. Puppies, ponies, baby chicks, anything cute and fuzzy. He enjoys dancing to all music “Disney”. Like most 11 year old boys, Wiley loves computer games and watching MOVIES. His DVD collection is growing. He is also a very patient fisherman. He can not wait to go deep sea fishing. He LOVES swimming and tubing in the summer. Wiley looks forward to his Saturday morning horseback lessons with his buds Cole and Mathew. They are quite the team and their friendship means a lot to him. He is grateful to be part of Gaitway and wants to thank all the volunteers and for their patiences and support. Wiley has Apraxia of speech too but that does stop him!! Wiley has brought joy and laughter and meaning to ur whole family.
