My Story began on August 9, 1992. Rachelle was born weighing in at 3lbs 5 ozs . Rachelle started her life with surgery after surgery 17 procedures in all. Rachelle was 2 when she had to have open heart surgery and was not expected to live, however 48 hours after surgery she was off the ventilator and raring to go!! She was not expected to live past age five but today she is a healthy 18 year old, although mentally she is about two. She is the light of our life and hardly ever has a complaint.
