Giovanna was born in December 2007. After many years of unsuccessful attempts my husband and I decided to try IVF. After a few cycles we were blessed with positive results. After almost losing her at birth we learned Giovanna had Down syndrome and accepted it with open arms. She is our miracle, a true fighter! She has taught us strength, determination and what "unconditional love" really is. She continues to strive and progress everyday, without a complaint. She is our sunshine on a cloudy day, with a smile that could light up the world. She is the happiest little girl you could ever meet. We couldn't be more proud of her. Thank you God for choosing us as Giovanna's parents. We are eternally grateful!
