I am the proud mother of a 10 year old girl with Down syndrome, Rachael. At 6 months, she was diagnosed with infantile spasms, which has left her developmentally delayed (1-2 years old). She is loved by all who meet her. We met Chris Burke at a Buddy Walk years ago. He inspired me to keep going, I have, and Rachael is walking and attends a school, Pathfinder Village, for children with Down syndrome. She is progressing every single day. She is a strong willed little girl, I know that she will be the best that she can.
