My little sister Holly was born with Down syndrome. At first I didn't know what it was but as I got older I started to realize that Holly was not like all the other children. I have watched her for the past 6 years struggle with things, but I try my best to help her get through them. She was a blessing in my life. I am her older sister and she looks up to me as her role model. Holly is an amazing sister. She is always happy and without her I don't know what i would do. I believe that people with special needs can do everything that I can. She will be starting school very soon and I'm so proud of her. It's a little scary watching her go but I know that she will make lots of friends and enjoy her new school. Holly will always need someone to care for her. I am always here for her no matter what. Watching her grow up is an amazing thing to watch. God gave my family Holly for a reason. Now I have realized what I want to do when I am older. I want to work with special needs kids. My name is Hannah and I am 14 years old. I may not know a lot about Down syndrome but I would like to participate in many activities and get my sister involved.
