My Brother Cameron
My Brother Cameron

This young boy came into my life, when I was only two. He was a big surprise and my family did not know what to do. He was diagnosed with Down syndrome the day that he was born. We were told he was and will be different, but there was absolutely no reason to mourn. I cannot imagine my life being any different without my brother who brings happiness and joy. He hangs out a lot with me and my friends, who all think that Cameron is such a sweet, little boy. Cameron has trouble learning, hearing, talking and writing, yet that does not stop him from trying his best. Sometimes he works even harder than I do, but eventually, he needs to take a long rest. Having a sibling with special needs influences and inspires me every single day. He has taught me patience, understanding and acceptance. I now look at things differently in every way.
