My name is Felicia Tagalogon and my son, Mason, has Down syndrome. I have been a special education teacher for over thirteen years, so it came as an ironic surprise when my Mason was born with Down syndrome. All my tests came out normal, so there is no explanation for what happened. At first, I was devestated and confused. My son is now almost two and although my husband and I are no longer together, Mason is what keeps me going. His strength and tenacity are what inspires me every day.
