My name is Jennifer, and I am 20 years old. My older brother, Jeremy, has Down syndrome and he is the biggest blessing of my life. Nobody is more supportive of me than Jeremy is and I have more respect for him than I do for anyone else. He plays numerous sports, has three jobs, has a girlfriend, competes in rodeos and is a local celebrity in our small town. He truly is my hero, and there is no way I can condense my love and admiration for him in under 500 words. Not even if I tried! Not long ago, I came across a birthday card in which he had written to me "worlds best sister, I love you, Jeremy" and I couldn't help but notice how beautifully his handwriting has improved in the past couple of years. A few weeks later I came across the Latin saying "omne trium perfectum" which is "the rule of three"...everything that comes in threes is perfect. Tears were brought to my eyes as I realized that good things really DO come in threes... especially chromosomes. That's when I decided that I wanted a permanent reminder of Jeremy's strength and courage. The rest is history, omne trium perfectum.
