Madison is my first born daughter she is my miracle baby, although she is growing fast and is now four years old. Her mom and I were informed that she had Down syndrome when Madi was still in the womb. I was a little afraid of all what could go wrong when she was born but I did not care because this was my first child I wanted badly. Her mom had to give birth to her a month early due to complications and Madi had to have some assistance getting her lungs going but after that she was perfect. Of course Madi faces struggles that most people Down syndrome stuggle with like low muscle tone and so on but I look beyond it all and see her as every other child, except I put her on a pedistal - high and proud. Madison is my backbone and she helps me through any hard times and helps me bring a smile to my face. I love how her eyes fill with excitement and joy and that's what makes her happiest when she makes others laugh & smile. I join in with her school activities and therapies and I share with her teachers on how much I am inspired by my little miracle girl. I have so much more I'd love to share. Madison is my beautiful little girl growing up so fast and one day she will make newspapers because that's truly how special this little girl really is and I know she'd inspire others and bring light into their lives like she does into mine.
