On 07/21/09, Andy LaRoche of the Pittsburgh Pirates invited Chloe Kondrich and her brother, Nolan, to join him at PNC Park before the game. Andy spent the time getting to know Chloe and Nolan and practicing hitting and catching on the PNC Park field. Andy also introduced Chloe and Nolan to several Pirate players, and Chloe handed out Down syndrome awareness bracelets to the Pirates. Andy LaRoche has set a goal to make a difference in the lives of children with Down syndrome!
