My name is Christina and my son is named Rylan. He is almost 27 months old! He was diagnosed with Down syndrome when he was 5 days old. I was only 22 when I became a mother and I did not know that Rylan was going to have a disability. I remember it all like it was yesterday, I completely froze up and stayed in denial for months. Now... he amazes me everyday! He pushes me to my limits to make a better life for the both of us. He has taught me how to deal with life better than anyone could have. He is truly my angel and I honestly do not know where I would be now with out him. This is my first year in participating in the Buddy Walk® and I cannot wait to see his face light up when we get there and he sees everyone! I look forward to every day just to see his smile!
