This was our first Buddy Walk®. My son Joshua has Down syndrome, he is only 5 so I am writing for him. He is the love of my life. Joshua came into our lives on February 7, 2006. We did not know he had Down syndrome but we soon learned the challenges that we would be facing. He is an awesome little boy who I call my little man. We attended a Buddy Walk in Ft. Wayne, Indiana a few years ago and I just wanted felt the need to start one in our hometown. Thank you Buddy Walk® for giving us this opportunity to do bring such a wonderful event to our city.
