My Grandson James has Down syndrome and he is a pip. He is eight and has six boy cousins who keep him active. When he was born and we found out he had Down syndrome my daughter said he is going to be treated like a regular child. I love him so. He loves to dance and he is in special t-ball. We went to the Buddy Walk® and he danced and received a medal as did the other children with Down syndrome. When he first went to school he didn't like to go, and in the beginning threw his little tantrums. My son-in-law had to take him on the days he wouldn't go. He has come a long way from there and I am proud to be his grandmom. He is our Bubba.
