The State of the Art Conferences sponsored by NDSS and George Mason University, and cosponsored by other national organizations and federal agencies, provide an opportunity for parents, students, researchers, college faculty, program staff, and representatives of schools and agencies to learn from one another and experts in the field and gain insight into how to develop and expand high-quality, inclusive postsecondary programs.
NDSS and George Mason University are sponsoring the 2012 State of the Art Conference on Postsecondary Education and Students with Intellectual Disabilities, along with distinguished cosponsors including the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) in the U.S. Department of Education, the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the American Association for Colleges for Teacher Education, and the Community College Consortium on Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.

Through a generous grant from the Riggio family, NDSS is offering financial support for individuals with Down syndrome and their family members to attend the 2012 State of the Art Conference on Postsecondary Education and Students with Intellectual Disabilities.
